Ultra Running Coach Kenzie MacPhail

Running History

My running journey began early, completing the LA Marathon at just 11 years old, and later competing in collegiate cross-country. When I moved near The Endurance Capital of the World I discovered trail running and my true love for the sport was ignited. I’ve earned top placements in some of the most challenging ultrarunning events, including Sean O’Brien 100K.

Personal Life

When I’m not running, I’m busy being a mom to three young children and sharing my love for the outdoors with my family. I’ve run through all my pregnancies, demonstrating that with the right balance, determination, and approach, anything is possible! After becoming a mom, I found a deeper purpose and passion for running, particularly in ultramarathons.

Coaching Philosophy

As a passionate runner with a BS in Kinesiology specializing in Exercise Science and a UESCA certification, I blend scientific knowledge with hands-on experience to help athletes reach their full potential. My coaching philosophy is centered on understanding each client’s unique goals. I create individual training plans that are easy to follow and highly effective in developing well-rounded athletes. Whether you’re aiming to complete your first race or enhance your ultrarunning performance, I’m here to support you every step of the way with personalized coaching that fits your life.
