Running History
I’m an ultra running coach, a lifelong athlete, educator, mom, and endurance runner. As a lifelong learner, I have a Master’s in Exercise Science, UESCA Coaching Certifications for Run Coaching, Ultra Coaching, and Sports Nutrition. Adding to the list, I am a PhD candidate in Kinesiology where my research is focused on power output in ultra-distance runners.
I’ve been running for 20 plus years, running a wide variety of races from 10ks to 100 milers. Western States 100 and UTMB are two of the 100 mile races that I draw a lot of my experience from. I blend my scientific understanding, practical experience, and a deep love for the sport to my coaching.
Personal Life
Balancing full-time teaching, parenting, school, and training, I know that successful running isn’t about perfect circumstances. It’s about smart planning, consistency, and finding joy in the work. Spending time on the trails with my son riding his bike alongside me are some of my favorite miles – a reminder that running can be both meaningful and fun.
Coaching Philosophy
As an ultra running coach, my philosophy is simple: we build your goals together, whether it’s your first race or you’re refining your ultramarathon performance. I coach with clarity, communication, and a focus on sustainable progress. We create a plan that fits your life with individualized training rooted in evidence-based practices.
Most importantly, I want running to enhance your life, to add confidence, strength, and enjoyment – not stress. I’ll meet you where you are and help you become the strongest version of the runner you want to be.
